Shih Tzus are a laid back breed and
good for the whole family.
We raise shih tzus that range in size
from 8 lbs to 15 lbs. If you have young children (under 8) we
recommend getting a puppy that will be 10 lbs or bigger.
Shih Tzus are intelligent dogs and will
learn fast with the proper training and consistency.
Shih Tzus come in various colors. We
raise shih tzus in the following colors:
Brindle & White: black and brown mixed
together with white patches
Black & White: black patches in a sea
of white (can have a cookies and cream appearance in some)
Liver & White: a chocolate and tan mix
with white patches
Red & White: a red/orange color with
white patches
Shih Tzus don't shed but need frequent
grooming to keep their hair clean, tangle free, and short if
desired.
